16 The girl’s father will say to the elders, “I gave my daughter to this man to be his wife, but now he does not want her.

16 The girl’s father will tell the leaders, “I gave my daughter in marriage to this man, but he doesn’t like her.

16 The young woman’s father will say to the elders, ‘I gave my daughter to this man as a wife, but he hates her.

16 The father of the young woman shall say to the elders: “I gave my daughter in marriage to this man but he dislikes her;

16 And then the father of the young woman shall say to the elders, ‘I gave my daughter to this man as wife, but he now dislikes her,

16 The woman’s father will speak to the elders. He’ll say, “I gave my daughter to this man to be his wife. But he doesn’t like her.

16 “The girl’s father shall say to the elders, ‘I gave my daughter to this man for a wife, but he turned against her;
