Numbers 3:4

Nadab and Abihu, however, died before the Lordy when they made an offering with unauthorized fire before him in the Desert of Sinai.z They had no sons, so Eleazar and Ithamara served as priests during the lifetime of their father Aaron.b

But Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord when they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. So Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests in the lifetime of Aaron their father.
