2 “I will go before you

and level the exalted places,

I will break in pieces the doors of bronze

and cut through the bars of iron,

3 I will give you the treasures of darkness

and the hoards in secret places,

that you may know that it is I, the Lord,

the God of Israel, who call you by your name.

2 I will go before thee,

And make the crooked places straight:

I will break in pieces the gates of brass,

And cut in sunder the bars of iron:

3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness,

And hidden riches of secret places,

That thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

2 This is what the Lord says:

“I will go before you, Cyrus,

and level the mountains.

I will smash down gates of bronze

and cut through bars of iron.

3 And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness—

secret riches.

I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord,

the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.

2 ‘I will go before you

That you may know that I, the Lord,

Who call you by your name,

Am the God of Israel.

2 I will go before you

and make the mountains flat.

I will break down the bronze gates of the cities

and cut through their iron bars.

3 I will give you the wealth that is stored away

and the hidden riches

so you will know I am the Lord,

the God of Israel, who calls you by name.

2 I will go before thee, and make the rough places smooth; I will break in pieces the doors of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron; 3 and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that it is I, Jehovah, who call thee by thy name, even the God of Israel.

2 I will go before thee, and make the elevated places plain; I will break in pieces the brazen doors, and cut asunder the bars of iron; 3 and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places; that thou mayest know that I, Jehovah, who call thee by name, am the God of Israel.

2 I will go ahead of you, Cyrus, and smooth out the rough places. 

I will break down the bronze doors and cut through the iron bars. 

3 I will give you treasures from dark places and hidden stockpiles. 

Then you will know that I, the Lord God of Israel, 

have called you by name.

I will shatter the bronze doors

and cut the iron bars in two.

3 I will give you the treasures of darkness

and riches from secret places,

so that you may know that I, Yahweh,

the God of Israel call you by your name.

2 I will go before you

and level the mountains,

I will break in pieces the doors of bronze

and cut through the bars of iron,

3 I will give you the treasures of darkness

and riches hidden in secret places,

so that you may know that it is I, the Lord,

the God of Israel, who call you by your name.

2 “I myself will go before you,

and I will level the mountains.

I will break the doors of bronze

and cut through the bars of iron.

3 And I will give you the treasures of darkness

and treasures of secret places

so that you may know that I am Yahweh,

the one who calls you by your name, the God of Israel,

2 ‘I will march out ahead of you.

I will make the mountains level.

I will break down bronze gates.

I will cut through their heavy iron bars.

3 I will give you treasures that are hidden away in dark places.

I will give you riches that are stored up in secret places.

Then you will know that I am the Lord.

I am the God of Israel.

I am sending for you by name.

2 “I will go before you and make the rough places smooth;

I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.

3 “I will give you the treasures of darkness

And hidden wealth of secret places,

So that you may know that it is I,

The Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.
