Matthew 1:2–6

2 Abraham 1was the father of Isaac, 2Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of 3Judah and his brothers.

3 Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, aPerez was the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of 1Ram.
