6 “This is what the Lord says—

Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty:

I am the first and I am the last;

apart from me there is no God.

7 Who then is like me? Let him proclaim it.

Let him declare and lay out before me

what has happened since I established my ancient people,

and what is yet to come—

yes, let them foretell what will come.

6 Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel

and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:

“I am the first and I am the last;

besides me there is no god.

7 Who is like me? Let him proclaim it.

Let him declare and set it before me,

since I appointed an ancient people.

Let them declare what is to come, and what will happen.

6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel,

And his redeemer the Lord of hosts;

I am the first, and I am the last;

And beside me there is no God.

7 And who, as I, shall call,

And shall declare it, and set it in order for me,

Since I appointed the ancient people?

And the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

6 This is what the Lord says—Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies:

“I am the First and the Last;

there is no other God.

7 Who is like me?

Let him step forward and prove to you his power.

Let him do as I have done since ancient times

when I established a people and explained its future.

6 “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel,

And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:

‘I am the First and I am the Last;

Besides Me there is no God.

7 And who can proclaim as I do?

Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me,

Since I appointed the ancient people.

And the things that are coming and shall come,

Let them show these to them.

6 The Lord, the king of Israel,

is the Lord All-Powerful, who saves Israel.

This is what he says: “I am the beginning and the end.

I am the only God.

7 Who is a god like me?

That god should come and prove it.

Let him tell and explain all that has happened since I set up my ancient people.

He should also tell what will happen in the future.

6 Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God. 7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I established the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and that shall come to pass, let them declare.

6 Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and beside me there is no God. 7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? And the coming things, and those that shall happen, let them declare unto them.

6 The Lord is Israel’s king and defender. 

He is the Lord of Armies. 

This is what the Lord says: 

I am the first and the last, 

and there is no God except me. 

7 If there is anyone like me, let him say so. 

Let him tell me what happened 

when I established my people long ago. 

Then let him predict what will happen to them. 

6 This is what the Lord, the King of Israel and its Redeemer, the Lord of Hosts, says:

I am the first and I am the last.

There is no God but Me.

7 Who, like Me, can announce the future?

Let him say so and make a case before Me,

since I have established an ancient people.

Let these gods declare the coming things,

and what will take place.

6 Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel,

and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:

I am the first and I am the last;

besides me there is no god.

7 Who is like me? Let them proclaim it,

let them declare and set it forth before me.

Who has announced from of old the things to come?

Let them tell us what is yet to be.

6 Thus says Yahweh, the king of Israel,

and its redeemer, Yahweh of hosts:

“I am the first, and I am the last,

and there is no god besides me.

7 And who is like me? Let him proclaim it!

And let him declare it and set it in order for me

since I established an eternal people and things that are to come,

and let them tell them the things that are coming.

6 “I am Israel’s King. I set them free.

I am the Lord who rules over all.

So listen to what I am saying.

I am the First and the Last.

I am the one and only God.

7 Who is like me? Let him come forward and speak boldly.

Let him tell me everything that has happened

since I created my people long ago.

And let him tell me what has not happened yet.

Let him announce ahead of time what is going to take place.
