1 “But now listen, Jacob, my servant,

Israel, whom I have chosen.

2 This is what the Lord says—

he who made you, who formed you in the womb,

and who will help you:

Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant,

Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land,

and streams on the dry ground;

I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring,

and my blessing on your descendants.

1 “But now hear, O Jacob my servant,

Israel whom I have chosen!

2 Thus says the Lord who made you,

who formed you from the womb and will help you:

Fear not, O Jacob my servant,

Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land,

and streams on the dry ground;

I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring,

and my blessing on your descendants.

1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant;

And Israel, whom I have chosen:

2 Thus saith the Lord that made thee,

And formed thee from the womb, which will help thee;

Fear not, O Jacob, my servant;

And thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty,

And floods upon the dry ground:

I will pour my spirit upon thy seed,

And my blessing upon thine offspring:

1 “But now, listen to me, Jacob my servant,

Israel my chosen one.

2 The Lord who made you and helps you says:

Do not be afraid, O Jacob, my servant,

O dear Israel, my chosen one.

3 For I will pour out water to quench your thirst

and to irrigate your parched fields.

And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants,

and my blessing on your children.

1 “Yet hear me now, O Jacob My servant,

And Israel whom I have chosen.

2 Thus says the Lord who made you

And formed you from the womb, who will help you:

‘Fear not, O Jacob My servant;

And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty,

And floods on the dry ground;

I will pour My Spirit on your descendants,

And My blessing on your offspring;

1 The Lord says, “People of Jacob, you are my servants. Listen to me!

People of Israel, I chose you.”

2 This is what the Lord says, who made you,

who formed you in your mother’s body,

who will help you:

“People of Jacob, my servants, don’t be afraid.

Israel, I chose you.

3 I will pour out water for the thirsty land

and make streams flow on dry land.

I will pour out my Spirit into your children

and my blessing on your descendants.

1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant, and Israel, who I have chosen: 2 Thus saith Jehovah that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob my servant; and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. 3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

1 And now hear, Jacob, my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen: 2 thus saith Jehovah, that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who helpeth thee, Fear not, Jacob, my servant, and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. 3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.

1 But now listen, my servant Jacob, 

Israel, whom I have chosen. 

2 The Lord made you, formed you in the womb, and will help you. 

This is what the Lord says: 

Don’t be afraid, my servant Jacob, 

Jeshurun,whom I have chosen. 

3 I will pour water on thirsty ground and rain on dry land. 

I will pour my Spirit on your offspring 

and my blessing on your descendants.

He will help you:

you must not fear, my servant Jacob,

and Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

3 For I will pour out water on a thirsty land

and streams on dry ground.

I will pour my spirit out on your descendants

and my blessing on your offspring.

1 “Family of Jacob, listen to me. You are my servants.

People of Israel, I have chosen you.

2 I made you. I formed you when you were born as a nation.

I will help you.

So listen to what I am saying.

Family of Jacob, do not be afraid. You are my servants.

People of Israel, I have chosen you.

3 I will pour water out on the thirsty land.

I will make streams flow on the dry ground.

I will pour out my Spirit on your children.

I will pour out my blessing on their children after them.
