Ezekiel 44:2–3

2 The Lord said to me, “This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter by it, for the aLord God of Israel has entered by it; therefore it shall be shut.

3 “As for the aprince, he shall sit in it as prince to beat bread before the Lord; he shall center by way of the dporch of the gate and shall go out 1by the same way.”

Ezekiel 44:2–3 — The New International Version (NIV)

The Lord said to me, “This gate is to remain shut. It must not be opened; no one may enter through it. It is to remain shut because the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered through it. The prince himself is the only one who may sit inside the gateway to eat in the presence of the Lord. He is to enter by way of the portico of the gateway and go out the same way.”
