Hosea 1:6–8

And she conceived again and bore a daughter, and hek said to him,

Name herl Lo-ruhamah,m

for I will no longer have pity

on the house of Israel

or forgive them.n

But I will have pity on the house of Judah

and I will save them by Yahweh their God,

and will not deliver them

by bow, sword, war,

horses, or horsemen.

And when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah,o she conceived and bore a son.

Hosea 1:6–8 — The New International Version (NIV)

Gomer conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. Then the Lord said to Hosea, “Call her Lo-Ruhamah (which means “not loved”), for I will no longer show love to Israel, that I should at all forgive them. Yet I will show love to Judah; and I will save them—not by bow, sword or battle, or by horses and horsemen, but I, the Lord their God, will save them.”

After she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, Gomer had another son.

After Gomer had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she again became pregnant and gave birth to a second son.

Later, Gomer stopped nursing Lo-Ruhamah. After that, she had another son.
