Judges 10:17–18

17 And the Ammonitest were summoned,u and they camped in Gilead. And the Israelitesv gathered and camped at Mizpah. 18 The people, the ones commanding Gilead, said to each other,w “Who is the man that will begin to fight against the Ammonites?x He will be as head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.”

17 When the Ammonites were called to arms and camped in Gilead, the Israelites assembled and camped at Mizpah. 18 The leaders of the people of Gilead said to each other, “Whoever will take the lead in attacking the Ammonites will be head over all who live in Gilead.”
