Matthew 16:7–8

So they were discussing this* among themselves, saying, “It is because we did not take bread.” But knowing this,* Jesus said, “Why are you discussing among yourselves that you did not take bread,b you of little faith?

Matthew 16:7–8 — The New International Version (NIV)

They discussed this among themselves and said, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.”

Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?
