Leviticus 24:12–16

12 Thenx they put him in custody so thaty the matter might be made clear to them in accordance with the mouth of Yahweh.

13 Thenz Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 14 “Bring the curser outside the camp,a and all the hearers shall place their hands on his head, and the whole community shall stone him. 15 And you shall speak to the Israelites,b saying, ‘Any manc when he curses his God shall beard his sin. 16 And he who blasphemes Yahweh’s name certainly shall be put to death; the whole community certainly shall stone him. As the alien, so the native shall be put to death at blaspheming his name.

Leviticus 24:12–16 — The New International Version (NIV)

12 They put him in custody until the will of the Lord should be made clear to them.

13 Then the Lord said to Moses: 14 “Take the blasphemer outside the camp. All those who heard him are to lay their hands on his head, and the entire assembly is to stone him. 15 Say to the Israelites: ‘Anyone who curses their God will be held responsible; 16 anyone who blasphemes the name of the Lord is to be put to death. The entire assembly must stone them. Whether foreigner or native-born, when they blaspheme the Name they are to be put to death.
