Genesis 29:12–13

12 And Jacob told Rachel that he was the relative of her father, and that he was the son of Rebekah. And she ran and told her father.13 And it happened that when Laban heard the message about Jacob, the son of his sister, he ran to meet him. And he embraced him and kissed him, and brought him to his house. And he told Laban all these things.

Genesis 29:12–13 — The New International Version (NIV)

12 He had told Rachel that he was a relative of her father and a son of Rebekah. So she ran and told her father.

13 As soon as Laban heard the news about Jacob, his sister’s son, he hurried to meet him. He embraced him and kissed him and brought him to his home, and there Jacob told him all these things.
