Deuteronomy 2:13–14

13 So now arise and cross over the wadit of Zered yourselves; and so we crossed the wadiu of Zered. 14 Now the length of timev that we had traveled from Kadesh Barnea until the time when we crossed the wadiw of Zered was thirty-eight years, until the perishing of all of that generation; that is, the men of war from the midst of the camp as Yahweh had sworn to them.

Deuteronomy 2:13–14 — The New International Version (NIV)

13 And the Lord said, “Now get up and cross the Zered Valley.” So we crossed the valley.

14 Thirty-eight years passed from the time we left Kadesh Barnea until we crossed the Zered Valley. By then, that entire generation of fighting men had perished from the camp, as the Lord had sworn to them.
