David’s Successes Arouse Saul’s Suspicions

David went out wheneverd Saul sent him, and he succeeded. So Saul appointed him over the men of the war, and it pleasede all the people and even pleasedf the servants of Saul.

Whatever mission Saul sent him on, David was so successful that Saul gave him a high rank in the army. This pleased all the troops, and Saul’s officers as well.
