Matthew 25:7–10

Then all those virgins arose, and ktrimmed their lamps. And the efoolish said unto the dwise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are ||gone out. But the dwise answered, saying, Not so; llest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and mthey that were ready went in with him to the nmarriage: and othe door was shut.

Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

“ ‘No,’ they replied,there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10 But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
