If I go up to the heavens, you are there;

if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10 even there your hand will guide me,

your right hand will hold me fast.

10 even there your hand will guide me,

and your strength will support me.

10 Even there Your hand shall lead me,

And Your right hand shall hold me.

Where can I go to get away from your Spirit?

Where can I run from you?

If I go up to the heavens, you are there.

10 even there you would guide me.

With your right hand you would hold me.

Psalm 139:7–10 — American Standard Version (ASV)

And thy right hand shall hold me.

Psalm 139:7–10 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

If I ascend up into the heavens thou art there; or if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there; If I take the wings of the dawn and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

Psalm 139:7–10 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

Where can I go ⸤to get away⸥ from your Spirit?

Where can I run ⸤to get away⸥ from you?

If I go up to heaven, you are there.

If I make my bed in hell, you are there.

If I climb upward on the rays of the morning sun

⸤or⸥ land on the most distant shore of the sea where the sun sets,

10 even there your hand would guide me

and your right hand would hold on to me.

Psalm 139:7–10 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

Your right hand will hold on to me.

Psalm 139:7–10 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

Where can I go from your Spirit,

or where can I flee from your presence?

and your right hand would hold me fast.

Where can I go to escape from you?

If I go up to the heavens, you are there.

and then cross over to the west where it sinks into the ocean.

10 Your hand would always be there to guide me.

Your right hand would still be holding me close.
