Psalm 33:1–11

Rejoice ain the Lord, O ye righteous:

For bpraise is comely for the upright.

Praise the Lord with charp:

Sing unto him with the cpsaltery dand an instrument of ten strings.

Sing unto him ea new song;

Play skilfully fwith a loud noise.

For the word of the Lord is right;

And all his works are done ffin truth.

gHe loveth righteousness and judgment:

hThe earth is full of the ||goodness of the Lord.

iBy the word of the Lord were the heavens made;

And kall the host of them lby the breath of his mouth.

He gathereth the waters of the sea together mas an heap:

nHe layeth up the depth in storehouses.

Let all the earth fear the Lord:

Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

For ohe spake, and it was done;

He commanded, and it stood fast.

10  pThe Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought:

He maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

11  qThe counsel of the Lord standeth for ever,

The thoughts of his heart to all generations.
