Matthew 26:50–53

50 And Jesus said unto him, gFriend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. 51 And, behold, hone of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew ihis sword, and struck ja servant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear. 52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for kall they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. 53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me lmore than twelve mlegions of angels?

Matthew 26:50–53 — The New International Version (NIV)

50 Jesus replied, Do what you came for, friend.”

Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him. 51 With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

52 Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. 53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
