2 Timothy 2:24–26 — New Living Translation (NLT)

24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. 25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.

2 Timothy 2:24–26 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

2 Timothy 2:24–26 — New Century Version (NCV)

24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, a good teacher, and patient. 25 The Lord’s servant must gently teach those who disagree. 2 Timothy 2:24–26 — American Standard Version (ASV)

24 And the Lord’s servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing, 25 in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him unto his will.

2 Timothy 2:24–26 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

24 And a bondman of the Lord ought not to contend, but be gentle towards all; apt to teach; forbearing; 25 in meekness setting right those who oppose, if God perhaps may sometime give them repentance to acknowledgment of the truth, 26 and that they may awake up out of the snare of the devil, who are taken by him, for his will.

2 Timothy 2:24–26 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel. Instead, he must be kind to everyone. He must be a good teacher. He must be willing to suffer wrong. 25 He must be gentle in correcting those who oppose the Good News. 2 Timothy 2:24–26 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)
