Genesis 17:20–22

20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and zwill make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; atwelve princes shall he beget, band I will make him a great nation. 21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. 22 And he left off talking with him, and cGod went up from Abraham.

Genesis 17:20–22 — The New International Version (NIV)

20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. 21 But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year.” 22 When he had finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.
