therefore I will make it a thing unclean for them.

21 I will give their wealth as plunder to foreigners

and as loot to the wicked of the earth,

who will defile it.

22 I will turn my face away from the people,

and robbers will desecrate the place I treasure.

They will enter it

and will defile it.

20 His beautiful ornament they used for pride, and they made their abominable images and their detestable things of it. Therefore I make it an unclean thing to them. 21 And I will give it into the hands of foreigners for prey, and to the wicked of the earth for spoil, and they shall profane it. 22 I will turn my face from them, and they shall profane my treasured place. Robbers shall enter and profane it.

disgusting to them.

21 I will give it as plunder to foreigners,

to the most wicked of nations,

and they will defile it.

22 I will turn my eyes from them

as these robbers invade and defile my treasured land.

Like refuse to them.

21 I will give it as plunder

Into the hands of strangers,

And to the wicked of the earth as spoil;

And they shall defile it.

22 I will turn My face from them,

And they will defile My secret place;

For robbers shall enter it and defile it.

So I will turn their wealth into trash. 21 I will give it to foreigners as loot from war and to the most evil people in the world as treasure, and they will dishonor it. 22 I will also turn away from the people of Israel, and they will dishonor my treasured place. These foreigners will dishonor the people of Israel. 22 I will turn my face away from the people of Israel, and foreigners will dishonor my treasured place. Robbers will go in and dishonor it.

into something filthy for them.

21 I will hand these things over

and to the wicked of the earth as spoil,

and they will profane them.

22 I will turn My face from the wicked

as they profane My treasured place.

Violent men will enter it and profane it.

to the wicked of the earth as plunder;

they shall profane it.

22 I will avert my face from them,

so that they may profane my treasured place;

the violent shall enter it,

they shall profane it.
