15 Wherefore I also, qafter I rheard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 stCease not uto give thanks vfor you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That wthe God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, tmay give unto you the spirit of xwisdom and yrevelation ||in the knowledge of him: 18 zThe eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is athe hope of his calling, and what bthe riches of the glory of his cinheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, daccording to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, ewhen he raised him from the dead, and fset him at his own right hand gin the heavenly places, 21 hFar above all ikprincipality, and kpower, and might, and dominion, and levery name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And mhath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be nthe head over all things to the church, 23 oWhich is his body, pthe fulness of him that qfilleth rall in all.

2 aAnd you bhath he quickened, bwho were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein cin time past ccye walked according to the dcourse of ethis world, according to fthe prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in gthe children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation cin times past in hthe lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and iwere jby nature jjthe children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is krich in mercy, for lhis great love wherewith he loved us, Even abmwhen we were dead in sins, hath nquickened us together with Christ, ||(by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us osit together pin heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding kriches of his grace in qhis kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For rby grace are ye saved sthrough faith; and that not of yourselves: tit is the gift of God: uNot of works, wlest any man should boast. 10 For we are xhis workmanship, ycreated in Christ Jesus unto zgood works, awhich God hath before ||ordained aathat we should walk in them.

11 Wherefore remember, bthat ye being in ctime past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called dthe Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, ebeing aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and fstrangers from gthe covenants of promise, hhaving no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus iye who csometimes were jfar off are made nigh kby the blood of Christ. 14 For lhe is our peace, mwho hath made both one, and hath nbroken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 oHaving abolished pin his flesh ppthe enmity, even the law of commandments contained in oqordinances; for to make in himself of twain one rnew man, so lmaking peace; 16 And that he might sreconcile both unto God in ssone body by the cross, othaving slain pthe enmity ||uthereby: 17 And came and wpreached peace to you which were jafar off, and to xthem that were nigh. 18 For ythrough him we both zhave access aby one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more bcstrangers and cdforeigners, but efellowcitizens with the saints, and fof the household of God; 20 And are gbuilt upon the foundation of the hiapostles and iprophets, kJesus Christ himself being lthe chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building mfitly framed together groweth unto nan holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom oye also are builded together pfor an habitation of God through the Spirit.

3 For this cause I Paul, athe prisoner of Jesus Christ bfor you cGentiles, If ye have heard of dthe dispensation eof the grace of God which is given me cto you-ward: fHow that gby revelation hhe made known unto me the mystery; i(as I wrote ||afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, kye may understand my knowledge in lthe mystery of Christ) hWhich in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy mapostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be nfellowheirs, and oof the same body, and ppartakers nof his promise in Christ by the gospel: qWhereof I was made ra minister, according to the gift of ethe grace of God given unto me sby the effectual working of his power. Unto me, twho am less than the least of all saints, eis this grace given, that I should preach camong the Gentiles the uunsearchable wriches of Christ; And hto make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, hwhich from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, xwho created all things by Jesus Christ: 10 To the intent that ynow unto zthe principalities and powers ain heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold bwisdom of God, 11 cAccording to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: 12 In whom we have dboldness and eaccess with fconfidence by gthe faith of him. 13 Wherefore I desire that ye hfaint not iat my tribulations kfor you, lwhich is your glory. 14 mFor this cause nI bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom othe whole family pin heaven and earth qis named, 16 That he would grant you, according to rthe riches of his glory, sto be strengthened with might by his Spirit in tthe inner man; 17 uThat Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, wbeing rooted and xgrounded in love, 18 May be able to ycomprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and zdepth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, awhich passeth knowledge, that bye might be filled with all cthe fulness of God. 20 dNow unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, eaccording to the power that worketh in us, 21 fUnto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus gthroughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

4 I therefore, athe prisoner ||of the Lord, bbeseech you that ye cwalk worthy of the dvocation wherewith ye are called, efWith all lowliness and fmeekness, fgwith longsuffering, hforbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in ithe bond of peace. There is kone body, and lone Spirit, even as mye are called in one nhope of your calling; oOne Lord, pone faith, one baptism, qOne God and Father of all, who is rabove all, and sthrough all, and in you all. But tunto every one of us uis given grace waccording to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, xWhen he ascended up on high, yhe led ||captivity captive, and zgave gifts unto men. a(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into bthe lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that cascended up dfar above all heavens, ethat he might ||ffill all things.) 11 And he gave some, gapostles; and some, ghprophets; and some, ievangelists; and some, kpastors and lteachers; 12 For the mperfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for nthe edifying of othe body of Christ: 13 Till we all come ||in the unity of the faith, and of pthe knowledge of the Son of God, unto qa perfect man, unto the measure of the ||stature of rthe fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more schildren, ttossed to and fro, and ucarried about twith every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and wcunning craftiness, whereby they xlie in wait to deceive; 15 But ||speaking ythe truth in love, may zgrow up into him in all things, awhich is bthe head, even Christ: 16 bFrom whom the whole body zfitly joined together and bcompacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that cye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, din the vanity of their mind, 18 eHaving the understanding darkened, fbeing alienated from the life of God through gthe ignorance that is in them, because of the ||dblindness of their heart: 19 Who ggbeing past feeling hhave given themselves over unto ilasciviousness, to work all iuncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that jye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye kput off lconcerning the former mconversation nthe old man, owhich is corrupt according to oothe deceitful lusts; 23 And pbe renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on qthe new man, which rafter God sis created in trighteousness and ||true tholiness.

25 Wherefore kputting away lying, uspeak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are wmembers one of another. 26 xBe ye angry, and sin not: ylet not zthe sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither agive place to the devil. 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather blet him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, cthat he may have ||to give dto him that needeth. 29 eLet no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good ||fto the use of edifying, that it may minister ggrace unto the hearers. 30 And higrieve not hkthe holy Spirit of God, lwhereby ye are sealed unto the day of mredemption. 31 Let all nbitterness, and owrath, and oanger, and clamour, and opevil speaking, be put away from you, with all oqmalice: 32 And be ye rkind one to another, stenderhearted, rtforgiving one another, reven as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

5 aBe ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And bwalk in love, cas Christ also hath loved us, and dhath given himself for us ean offering and a sacrifice to God for fa sweetsmelling savour. But ghfornication, and all guncleanness, or gcovetousness, let it not be once inamed among you, as becometh saints; Neither kfilthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, lwhich are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that mno whoremonger, nor
