Deuteronomy 2:28–29 — New Living Translation (NLT)

Let us pass through until we cross the Jordan into the land the Lord our God is giving us.’

Deuteronomy 2:28–29 — New Century Version (NCV)

Deuteronomy 2:28–29 — American Standard Version (ASV)

28 Thou shalt sell me food for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only let me pass through on my feet; 29 as the children of Esau that dwell in Seir, and the Moabites that dwell in Ar, did unto me; until I shall pass over the Jordan into the land which Jehovah our God giveth us.

Deuteronomy 2:28–29 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

28 Thou shalt sell me food for money that I may eat; and thou shalt give me water for money that I may drink; I will only pass through on my feet, 29 —as the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, and the Moabites who dwell in Ar, did to me, —until I shall pass over the Jordan into the land which Jehovah our God giveth us.

Deuteronomy 2:28–29 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

28 We’ll pay you the right amount of silver for food to eat and water to drink. Just let us walk through your country. 29 The people of Esau, who live in Seir, allowed us to do that.
