Daniel 9:15–19

15 vAnd now, O Lord our God, vwthat hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt xwith a mighty hand, and vhast ygotten thee renown, as at this day; zwe have sinned, we have done wickedly. 16 O Lord, aaccording to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, bthy holy mountain: cbecause for our sins, and dfor the iniquities of our fathers, eJerusalem and thy people fare become a reproach fgto all that are about us. 17 Now therefore, O our God, hhear the prayer of thy servant, and hhis supplications, and icause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary kthat is desolate, lfor the Lord’s sake. 18 O my God, mincline thine ear, and hear; mopen thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our hsupplications before thee nfor our orighteousnesses, but for thy great mercies. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; pdefer not, for lqthine own sake, O my God: for rthy city and thy people are called by thy name.
