2 Timothy 2:1–10

Thou therefore, amy son, bbe strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things cthat thou hast heard of me ||among many witnesses, the same decommit thou to ffaithful men, who shall be gable to teach others also. Thou therefore hendure hardness, as ia good soldier of Jesus Christ. No jman that warreth kentangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And lif a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not llcrowned, except he strive lawfully. m||The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. Consider what I say; and mmthe Lord give thee understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ nof the seed of David nnwas raised from the dead oaccording to my gospel: pWherein hI suffer trouble, as an evil doer, qeven unto bonds; but rthe word of God is not bound. 10 Therefore I endure all things sfor tthe elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain uthe salvation which is in Christ Jesus with veternal glory.
