2 Peter 1:3–11

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and fgodliness, egthrough the knowledge of hhim that hath called us ||to iglory and hvirtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be kpartakers of the divine nature, lhaving escaped mthe corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, nadd to your faith virtue; and to virtue oknowledge; And to knowledge ptemperance; and to temperance qpatience; and to patience fgodliness; And to fgodliness rbrotherly kindness; and sto brotherly kindness tcharity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor uunfruitful in ethe knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things vis blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was wpurged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence xto make your ycalling and election sure: for if ye do these things, zye shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be aministered unto you abundantly binto the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
