2 Corinthians 5:19–21

19 To wit, that nGod was in Christ, kreconciling nnthe world unto himself, not oimputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of mreconciliation. 20 Now then pwe are ambassadors for Christ, as qthough God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, kbe ye reconciled to God. 21 For rhe hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made sthe righteousness of God in him.

2 Corinthians 5:19–21 — The New International Version (NIV)

19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

He didn’t hold people’s faults against them, and he has given us this message of restored relationships to tell others. 20 Therefore, we are Christ’s representatives, and through us God is calling you. 21 Christ didn’t have any sin. But God made him become sin for us. So we can be made right with God because of what Christ has done for us.
