However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen,

what no ear has heard,

and what no human mind has conceived”—

the things God has prepared for those who love him—

10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — English Standard Version (ESV)

But, as it is written,

“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,

nor the heart of man imagined,

what God has prepared for those who love him”—

10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — New Living Translation (NLT)

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,

and no mind has imagined

what God has prepared

for those who love him.”

10 But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — New Century Version (NCV)

But as it is written in the Scriptures:

“No one has ever seen this,

and no one has ever heard about it.

No one has ever imagined

what God has prepared for those who love him.”

10 But God has shown us these things through the Spirit.

The Spirit searches out all things, even the deep secrets of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — American Standard Version (ASV)

but as it is written,

Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not,

And which entered not into the heart of man,

Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him.

10 But unto us God revealed them through the Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

but according as it is written, Things which eye has not seen, and ear not heard, and which have not come into man’s heart, which God has prepared for them that love him, 10 but God has revealed to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

But as Scripture says:

“No eye has seen,

no ear has heard,

and no mind has imagined

the things that God has prepared

for those who love him.”

10 God has revealed those things to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches everything, especially the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

But as it is written:

What eye did not see and ear did not hear,

and what never entered the human mind—

God prepared this for those who love Him.

10 Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

But, as it is written,

“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,

nor the human heart conceived,

what God has prepared for those who love him”—

10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

But just as it is written,

Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,

and have not entered into the heart of man,

all that God has prepared for those who love him.”

10 For to us God has revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

It is written,

“No eye has seen,

no ear has heard,

no mind has known

what God has prepared for those who love him.”

10 But God has shown it to us through his Spirit.

The Spirit understands all things. He understands even the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (NASB95)

but just as it is written,

Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,

And which have not entered the heart of man,

All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
