17 Let nthe elders othat rule well pbe counted worthy of qdouble rhonour, especially they who labour in the word and sdoctrine. 18 For tthe scripture saith, uThou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, wThe labourer is worthy of his reward. 19 Against nan elder receive not an accusation, but ||xbefore two or three witnesses. 20 Them that sin yrebuke zbefore all, athat others also may fear. 21 bcI charge thee cbefore God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things ||without preferring one before another, ddoing nothing by partiality. 22 eLay hands eesuddenly on no man, neither fbe partaker of other men’s sins: gkeep thyself pure.
