If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, qnourished up in the words of faith and of qqgood doctrine, whereunto thou hast rattained. But srefuse profane and old wives’ tfables, and uexercise thyself rather unto vgodliness. For wbodily exercise profiteth ||little: xbut vgodliness is profitable unto all things, yhaving promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. zThis is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. 10 For therefore awe both labour and suffer reproach, because we btrust in cthe living God, who is dthe Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 11 eThese things command and teach.

12 fLet no man despise gthy youth; but hbe thou ian example of the believers, in word, in jconversation, in kcharity, in spirit, in kfaith, in lpurity. 13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to mexhortation, to ndoctrine.
