1 Samuel 18:12–15

12 And Saul was nafraid of David, because othe Lord was with him, and was pdeparted from Saul. 13 Therefore Saul removed him from him, and made him his captain over a thousand; and qhe went out and came in before the people. 14 And David ||behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and rthe Lord was with him. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him.

12 Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with David but had departed from Saul. 13 So he sent David away from him and gave him command over a thousand men, and David led the troops in their campaigns. 14 In everything he did he had great success, because the Lord was with him. 15 When Saul saw how successful he was, he was afraid of him.
