27 “First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

28 “Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. 28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.

27 Jesus told her, “First I should feed the children—my own family, the Jews. It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.”

28 She replied, “That’s true, Lord, but even the dogs under the table are allowed to eat the scraps from the children’s plates.”

27 But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”

28 And she answered and said to Him, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs.”

27 Jesus told the woman, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and give it to the dogs. First let the children eat all they want.”

28 But she answered, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table can eat the children’s crumbs.”

27 And he said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread and cast it to the dogs. 28 But she answered and saith unto him, Yea, Lord; even the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.

27 But Jesus said to her, Suffer the children to be first filled; for it is not right to take the children’s bread and cast it to the dogs. 28 But she answered and says to him, Yea, Lord; for even the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.

27 Jesus said to her, “First, let the children eat all they want. It’s not right to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.” 

28 She answered him, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat some of the children’s scraps.” 

27 He said to her, “Allow the children to be satisfied first, because it isn’t right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”

28 But she replied to Him, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

27 He said to her, “Let the children be fed first, for it is not fair to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.” 28 But she answered him, “Sir, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

27 And he said to her, “Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs!” 28 But she answered and said to him, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

27 And He was saying to her, “Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”

28 But she answered and said to Him, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table feed on the children’s crumbs.”
