Hebrews 13:4–7

yLet marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge zthe sexually immoral and adulterous. Keep your life afree from love of money, and bbe content with what you have, for he has said, c“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say,

d“The Lord is my helper;

eI will not fear;

what can man do to me?”

Hebrews 13:4–7 — The New International Version (NIV)

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;

never will I forsake you.”

So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.

What can mere mortals do to me?”

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
