39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. 40 You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.”

39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: 40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has revealed the meaning of the dreams to you, clearly no one else is as intelligent or wise as you are. 40 You will be in charge of my court, and all my people will take orders from you. Only I, sitting on my throne, will have a rank higher than yours.”

39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. 40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”

39 So the king said to Joseph, “God has shown you all this. There is no one as wise and understanding as you are, so 40 I will put you in charge of my palace. All the people will obey your orders, and only I will be greater than you.”

39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath showed thee all of this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou: 40 thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

39 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Since God has made all this known to thee, there is none so discreet and wise as thou. 40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according to thy commandment shall all my people regulate themselves; only concerning the throne will I be greater than thou.

39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has let you know all this, there is no one as wise and intelligent as you. 40 You will be in charge of my palace, and all my people will dowhat you say. I will be more important than you, only because I’m Pharaoh.” 

39 So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as intelligent and wise as you are. 40 You will be over my house, and all my people will obey your commands. Only with regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”

39 So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has shown you all this, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. 40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall order themselves as you command; only with regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”

39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all of this known to you there is no one as discerning and wise as you. 40 You shall be over my house, and to your word all my people shall submit. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.”

39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “God has made all of this known to you. No one is as wise and understanding as you are. 40 You will be in charge of my palace. All of my people must obey your orders. I will be greater than you only because I’m the one who sits on the throne.”

39 So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has informed you of all this, there is no one so discerning and wise as you are.

40 “You shall be over my house, and according to your command all my people shall do homage; only in the throne I will be greater than you.”
