Deuteronomy 13:16

16 You shall gather all its spoil into the midst of its open square and jburn the city and all its spoil with fire, as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. It shall be a kheap forever. It shall not be built again.

Deuteronomy 13:16 — The New International Version (NIV)

16 You are to gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. That town is to remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt,
