Deuteronomy 33:1–2

Moses’ Final Blessing on Israel

33 This is the blessing with which Moses ythe man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death. He said,

z“The Lord came from Sinai

and dawned from Seir upon us;1

he shone forth from Mount Paran;

he came afrom the ten thousands of holy ones,

with flaming fire2 at his right hand.

Deuteronomy 33:1–2 — The New International Version (NIV)

This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced on the Israelites before his death. He said:

“The Lord came from Sinai

and dawned over them from Seir;

he shone forth from Mount Paran.

He came with myriads of holy ones

from the south, from his mountain slopes.
