10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

10 If anyone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don’t invite that person into your home or give any kind of encouragement.

10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;

10 If someone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not welcome or accept that person into your house.

10 If any one cometh unto you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and give him no greeting:

9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 for he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

9 Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.

9 Anyone who goes beyond Christ’s teaching and does not continue to follow only his teaching does not have God. But whoever continues to follow the teaching of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If someone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not welcome or accept that person into your house. 11 If you welcome such a person, you share in the evil work.

9 Anyone who does not remain in Christ’s teaching but goes beyond it, does not have God. The one who remains in that teaching, this one has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home, and don’t say, “Welcome,” to him; 11 for the one who says, “Welcome,” to him shares in his evil works.

9 Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ, but goes beyond it, does not have God; whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 Do not receive into the house or welcome anyone who comes to you and does not bring this teaching; 11 for to welcome is to participate in the evil deeds of such a person.

9 Some people run ahead of others. They don’t follow the teaching of Christ. People like that don’t belong to God. But those who follow the teaching of Christ belong to the Father and the Son.

10 Suppose someone comes to you and doesn’t teach these truths. Then don’t take him into your house. Don’t welcome him. 11 Anyone who welcomes him shares in his evil work.
