2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have. 12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — New Living Translation (NLT)

11 Now you should finish what you started. Let the eagerness you showed in the beginning be matched now by your giving. Give in proportion to what you have. 12 Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

11 but now you also must complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have. 12 For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — New Century Version (NCV)

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — American Standard Version (ASV)

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

11 But now also complete the doing of it; so that as there was the readiness to be willing, so also to complete out of what ye have. 12 For if the readiness be there, a man is accepted according to what he may have, not according to what he has not.

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

11 So finish what you began to do. Then your willingness will be matched by what you accomplish 12 with whatever contributions you have. Since you are willing to do this, ⸤remember⸥ that people are accepted if they give what they are able to give. God doesn’t ask for what they don’t have.

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

11 So now also complete the doing of it, in order that just as you have the eagerness to want to do it, thus also you may complete it from what you have. 12 For if the eagerness is present according to what one has, it is acceptable not according to what one does not have.

2 Corinthians 8:11–12 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)
