31 After they left the room, they began saying to one another, “This man is not doing anything that deserves death or imprisonment.”

31 And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.

31 As they went out, they talked it over and agreed, “This man hasn’t done anything to deserve death or imprisonment.”

31 and when they had gone aside, they talked among themselves, saying, “This man is doing nothing deserving of death or chains.”

31 and left the room. Talking to each other, they said, “There is no reason why this man should die or be put in jail.”

31 and when they had withdrawn, they spake one to another, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.

31 and having gone apart, they spoke to one another saying, This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds.

31 As they were leaving, they said to each other, “This man isn’t doing anything for which he deserves to die or be put in prison.” 

31 and when they had left they talked with each other and said, “This man is doing nothing that deserves death or chains.”

31 and as they were leaving, they said to one another, “This man is doing nothing to deserve death or imprisonment.”

31 And as they were going out, they were talking to one another, saying, “This man is not doing anything deserving death or imprisonment.”

31 They left the room and began to talk with one another. “Why should this man die or be put in prison?” they said. “He has done nothing worthy of that!”

31 and when they had gone aside, they began talking to one another, saying, “This man is not doing anything worthy of death or imprisonment.”
