In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
I will sing of the steadfast love of the Lord, forever;
with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness
to all generations.
Almighty and Gracious God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, you commanded us to pray that you would send out laborers into your harvest. Of your infinite mercy, give us true teachers and ministers of your word. Put your saving gospel in their hearts and on the lips that they may truly fulfill your command to preach nothing contrary to your holy word, that we, so being warned, instructed, nurtured, comforted, and strengthened by your heavenly word, may do those things which are well pleasing to you and profitable to us; through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord. Amen.
