Introduction
Since its creation in 2008, Bible Study Magazine has interviewed some of the most influential people in Christian leadership. In the years I’ve spent writing and interviewing for BSM, I have been especially encouraged to hear testimonies of how Jesus Christ draws people to himself; the Word of God truly is transformative. It is our privilege to collect these feature stories in this series.
These 12 stories stem from interviews that were conducted and originally published from late 2008 to early 2014. They have not been updated, but are in their original published format. While some of the leaders featured here may have moved on to new ministries, ventures, and projects, their thoughts on life and Bible study highlight the timelessness of the Word of God as it changes lives.
R.C. Sproul, Kay Arthur, and the other pastors and ministry leaders who share their stories here have a wealth of experience in ministry. The years they’ve spent studying the Bible is reflected in the stories they tell and the lives they lead. We hope you are encouraged by their passion for the Word.
