In 1977, I had lunch with Ray Stedman at the Elks Club in Palo Alto, California. Ray, who is now with the Lord, had been pastor of Peninsula Bible Church since 1951. I was a twenty-seven-year-old rookie pastor in my first church.

As we were talking, I mentioned my interest in writing. Ray, who had published numerous books, was very encouraging. Then he said, “Steve, let me offer you some advice. About Point Man: How a Man Can Lead His Family

LEAD

AND YOUR FAMILY WILL FOLLOW.

"Most men would die for their families, but will they live for them?"

Steve Farrar challenges men to take their God-given positions on the front lines of the battle, to fight for their family's health and survival.

Point Man is a trustworthy roadmap through parenthood, the seasons of marriage, personal temptation, and foraging a life of faith in the midst of a corrupt culture.

"It's a Herculean task to lead a family," says Farrar, "but if you respond to the call of Christ to become the point man, He will buttress you, bolster you, and empower you in His limitless, unfailing strength."
