The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology, edited by Colin Brown, was published in three volumes in 1975–78 (a reissue in 1986 included a fourth volume consisting of indexes) and quickly established itself as a standard reference work, with almost 80,000 copies (print and electronic) having been sold during the past thirty-five years.
