Preface

The purpose of this book is to take you chapter-by-chapter through the New Testament and give you the opportunity to study each book and chapter and learn how they fit into the total revelation God has given us of Christ and His redemptive work. The studies are concise and practical and are especially suitable for Sunday School classes and Bible study groups that want to examine God’s Word in a systematic manner.

These studies grew out of the lessons I prepared for the Calvary Baptist Church, Covington, Kentucky, when I ministered there from 1961 to 1971. My godly predecessor, Dr. D.B. Eastep, had devised “The Whole Bible Study Course” which took the student through the Bible in seven years, three years in the Old Testament and four years in the New ...
