Bibliotheca Sacra, a theological quarterly in continuous publication since 1843, has been published by Dallas Theological Seminary since 1934. Bibliotheca Sacra serves scholars, pastors, teachers, church leaders, missionaries, and other readers by publishing articles and reviews that explore the Scriptures, discuss theological issues, and consider various aspects of biblical ministry. Scripture quotations are taken from the New American Standard Bible, 1995 edition, unless noted otherwise. Bibliotheca Sacra is indexed in Elenchus of Biblica; Christian Periodical Index; Ephemerides Theologicae Lovanienses; New Testament Abstracts; Old Testament Abstracts; and Religious and Theological Abstracts. Bibliotheca Sacra is also indexed in the ATLA Religion Database, published by the American Theological Library Association, Chicago.
