The Wolverhampton built prototype 0-4-2T of the 517 class, in the blue/green livery applied in the 19th century to the Wolverhampton constructed engines. It is seen at Birmingham Snow Hill in July 1900, the original photograph colourised by Andrew Knowles of the Great Western Society to illustrate this rarely seen livery.
