It is not probable that in Luke’s use of διήγησις a reference to ἐκδιηγῆται in Hab 1:5 plays a role (H. Schürmann, “Evangelienschrift und kirchliche Unterweisung,” in Das Lukasevangelium [HTKNT, 1969] 167f.), because of the semantic association of διήγησις as a t.t. of Hellenistic history-writing.
