Proverbs 6:12–17

12 What are worthless and wicked people like?

They are constant liars,

13 signaling their deceit with a wink of the eye,

a nudge of the foot, or the wiggle of fingers.

14 Their perverted hearts plot evil,

and they constantly stir up trouble.

15 But they will be destroyed suddenly,

He deviseth mischief continually;

He soweth discord.

15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly;

Suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.

They go around telling lies,

13 winking with their eyes, tapping with their feet,

14 They make evil plans in their hearts

and are always starting arguments.

15 So trouble will strike them in an instant;

suddenly they will be so hurt no one can help them.

Who deviseth evil continually,

Who soweth discord.
