Revelation 6:1–17
6 Now aI saw when the Lamb opened one of the 1seals; and I heard bone of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.” 2 And I looked, and behold, ca white horse. dHe who sat on it had a bow; eand a crown was given to him, and he went out fconquering and to conquer.
Second Seal: Conflict on Earth
3 When He opened the second seal, gI heard the second living creature saying, “Come 2and see.” 4 hAnother horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to itake peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
5 When He opened the third seal, jI heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, ka black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of lscales 3in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A 4quart of wheat for a 5denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and mdo not harm the oil and the wine.”
Fourth Seal: Widespread Death on Earth
7 When He opened the fourth seal, nI heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 oSo I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And 6power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, pto kill with sword, with hunger, with death, qand by the beasts of the earth.
Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs
9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under rthe altar sthe souls of those who had been slain tfor the word of God and for uthe testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, v“How long, O Lord, wholy and true, xuntil You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a ywhite robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them zthat they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
Sixth Seal: Cosmic Disturbances
12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, aand 7behold, there was a great earthquake; and bthe sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the 8moon became like blood. 13 cAnd the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. 14 dThen the sky 9receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and eevery mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15 And the fkings of the earth, the great men, 1the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, ghid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 hand said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who isits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, jand who is able to stand?”

Revelation 22:1–21
22 And he showed me aa 1pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 bIn the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was cthe tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were dfor the healing of the nations. 3 And ethere shall be no more curse, fbut the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His gservants shall serve Him. 4 hThey shall see His face, and iHis name shall be on their foreheads. 5 jThere shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor klight of the sun, for lthe Lord God gives them light. mAnd they shall reign forever and ever.
6 Then he said to me, n“These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the 2holy prophets osent His angel to show His servants the things which must pshortly take place.
7 q“Behold, I am coming quickly! rBlessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 Now I, John, 3saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, sI fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
9 Then he said to me, t“See that you do not do that. 4For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” 10 uAnd he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, vfor the time is at hand. 11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him 5be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”
Jesus Testifies to the Churches
12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and wMy reward is with Me, xto give to every one according to his work. 13 yI am the Alpha and the Omega, the 6Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
14 zBlessed are those who 7do His commandments, that they may have the right ato the tree of life, band may enter through the gates into the city. 15 8But coutside are ddogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
16 e“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. fI am the Root and the Offspring of David, gthe Bright and Morning Star.”
17 And the Spirit and hthe bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” iAnd let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
18 9For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: jIf anyone adds to these things, 1God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, kGod 2shall take away his part from the 3Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be 4with you all. Amen.

Revelation 3:1–22
3 “And to the 1angel of the church in Sardis write,
‘These things says He who ahas the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before 2God. 3 bRemember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and crepent. dTherefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you eas a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. 4 3You have fa few names 4even in Sardis who have not gdefiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me hin white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes ishall be clothed in white garments, and I will not jblot out his name from the kBook of Life; but lI will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
6 m“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’
7 “And to the 5angel of the church in Philadelphia write,
‘These things says nHe who is holy, oHe who is true, p“He who has the key of David, qHe who opens and no one shuts, and rshuts and no one opens”: 8 s“I know your works. See, I have set before you tan open door, 6and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Indeed I will make uthose of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed vI will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept 7My command to persevere, wI also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon xthe whole world, to test those who dwell yon the earth. 11 8Behold, zI am coming quickly! aHold fast what you have, that no one may take byour crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him ca pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall dgo out no more. eI will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the fNew Jerusalem, which gcomes down out of heaven from My God. hAnd I will write on him My new name.
13 i“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’
14 “And to the 9angel of the church 1of the Laodiceans write,
j‘These things says the Amen, kthe Faithful and True Witness, lthe Beginning of the creation of God: 15 m“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither 2cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, n‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—18 I counsel you oto buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and pwhite garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 qAs many as I love, I rebuke and rchasten. 3Therefore be 4zealous and repent. 20 Behold, sI stand at the door and knock. tIf anyone hears My voice and opens the door, uI will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes vI will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
