Jesus Heals at Gennesaret

Matt. 14:34–36

53 aWhen they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret and anchored there. 54 And when they came out of the boat, immediately 2the people recognized Him, 55 ran through that whole surrounding region, and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard He was. 56 Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that bthey might just touch the chem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.

Mark 6:53–56 — The New International Version (NIV)

53 When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there. 54 As soon as they got out of the boat, people recognized Jesus. 55 They ran throughout that whole region and carried the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was. 56 And wherever he went—into villages, towns or countryside—they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.
